This is one of life's great challenges: the atmosphere is second to none and the sense of achievement is wonderful.
As a fundraising event, nothing can compete with the marathon, with thousands of people taking to the streets many in fancy dress, raising money for causes close to their hearts.

Have a ballot place?
If you are successful in the TCS London Marathon public ballot and received your accepted email, got your place through a running club, or have a deferred entry, we would be delighted to have you join Team ABF.
As an own place runner, you receive all the same support from our dedicated events team as those with a charity place, but there are no sponsorship targets to meet. Please contact Rae Murphy at rmurphy@armybenevolentfund.org for more information and to join the team.

2026 TCS London Marathon FAQ
Fancy joining our London Marathon team or are you already part of the team but still have some questions? We have a few pointers below covered, however should you have more questions, please contact the marathon Event Manager, Rae, on rmurphy@armybenevolentfund.org
How do I pay my registration fee?
Once you have been offered a charity place, you will receive a confirmation email from the Event Manager with a payment link and your unique payment code valid for 48hrs.
How do I pay my fundraising?
We encourage our supporters to use their online fundraising page which has been set up for you upon paying the registration fee for the marathon. Alternatively, you can set up your online fundraising page on JustGiving. When fundraising online all the donations will automatically be received by the charity.
Offline donations/cheques:
For any offline donations, such as cash, please contact Rae on rmurphy@armybenevolentfund.org for a charity bank account details.

Can I get a sponsorship form?
Sponsorship forms are great form of offline fundraising. You can download a form here.
Is it possible to return or exchange the size of my running top?
You might find you don't want your top after all or maybe it doesn't quite fit. If that's the case you can return it to us or exchange it for a different size. Please note, the top must be unworn and have a label attached.
Can I get a collection tin?
Absolutely! Please email events@armybenevolentfund.org and let us know the quantity. Please note, we can send maximum 10 collection tins to every supporter.
What materials I can get to support my fundraising?
We can send you our posters, pens, wristbands, pin badges, stickers and bookmarks.
When is the deadline to complete my console registration?
Please look out for our regular newsletters with the latest updates about the event to find out more about the console. Once the official console opens for registrations you will receive an email from us explainging the next steps. You must have £250 fundraised before you will be added to the console.
Where is the ABF post-race reception held?
Our post-race reception will be held at Wellington Barracks in London, a short walking distance from the finish line.
How many guests I can invite to the post-race reception?
Every participant is welcome to invite maximum 5 people to attend the post-race reception. However, should you wish to invite more people, please contact directly the event manager so we can find the best way to accommodate everyone.
