TCS London Marathon 2026

Reason-

I’m running the London Marathon in support of the Army Benevolent Fund – the Army’s national charity – a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart.

The Army Benevolent Fund supports soldiers, veterans, and their families for life. From young service leavers finding their feet, to veterans facing injury, illness, financial hardship or loneliness years after service, the charity is there when it matters most. They also support families who are dealing with the pressures and sacrifices that come with military life — often quietly and without recognition.

As a veteran myself, I know that service doesn’t simply end when the uniform comes off. The Army gives us a sense of purpose, camaraderie and resilience — but for many, the transition to civilian life or the long-term impact of service can be incredibly challenging. The Army Benevolent Fund exists to make sure no one who has served is left to face those challenges alone.

By donating, you’re not just sponsoring a marathon — you’re helping provide practical support, dignity, and reassurance to those who have given so much in service of others. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps ensure that soldiers, veterans, and their families get the support they deserve, for as long as they need it.

Thank you for your support — it genuinely means more than you might realise.
