Help Me Support Soldiers Past and Present – London Marathon 2026

£2,400 Target for the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF – The Soldiers’ Charity)

Hi, I’m Andrew Lewis, and in 2026 I’ll be proudly running the London Marathon in support of the Army Benevolent Fund – the national charity of the British Army.

I’ve served for over 27 years in the military, and I’ve seen firsthand the incredible strength, courage, and resilience of the soldiers I’ve served with. But I’ve also seen the challenges that follow — whether it’s injury, illness, housing, financial struggles, or the long-term impacts of service on soldiers and their families.

That’s why the ABF means so much to me. They’ve stood by our people when they’ve needed it most – offering vital support, from helping veterans adapt to civilian life, to ensuring families of the fallen are never forgotten.

My goal is to raise £2,400, and I can’t do it without your help. Whether you’re a fellow soldier, friend, or supporter of our armed forces, your donation — big or small — will go directly to helping soldiers and veterans live with dignity and hope.

I’ve spent nearly three decades in uniform. I’ve made lifelong friendships and witnessed the true cost of service. Running 26.2 miles is nothing compared to what so many have endured — but it’s something I can do to give back.

Please consider supporting my journey. Let’s do something powerful for those who’ve served.

Thank you – and see you at the finish line!

Andy
