2026 London Marathon - Army Benevolent Fund
On 26 April 2026, I’ll be running the TCS London Marathon in support of the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) — the national charity of the British Army.
From the child of a young serving parent to a 104-year-old veteran, the ABF provides vital support whenever and wherever it’s needed. For generations, it has stood beside soldiers, veterans, and their families, ensuring that those who serve for Britain are never left behind. The freedoms we enjoy today were hard-won, paid for with the unwavering dedication and sacrifice of those who served. Soldiers risk their lives, families endure long separations, and all too often, the cost of service extends beyond the battlefield.
This year, the world marks the 80th anniversary of VE Day (Victory in Europe Day), a moment when peace was reclaimed and freedom prevailed. We honour that victory, but we also recognize that service and sacrifice did not end in 1945. Today, men and women in the British Army continue to protect and defend, standing ready to safeguard the freedoms we hold dear.
I’m proud to be running the 2026 London Marathon for them. Please join me in honouring the British Armed Forces—past and present—many of whom have fought alongside Canadian and American forces, both historically and in today’s ongoing missions to protect peace and freedom, domestically and globally.
Your donation, no matter the size, will help ensure that soldiers, veterans, and their families receive the support they need and deserve. It will also secure my place in the marathon, allowing me to run in support of this vital cause.
Please reach out to me with any questions.
Cheers,
Cole
