I've created this page to make a difference in the lives of soldiers, veterans and their families.
I'm inspired by the work of the Army Benevolent Fund and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in 2026 TCS London Marathon. The ABF is the Army's national charity, supporting individuals and families as well as other leading charities to ensure help is there for soldiers, for life. Last year, they supported individuals aged from just 1 day old to 104 years old. You can read more of their stories here.
Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'donate' button. The more people that know about ABF, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
My Updates

An introduction & about me 🤍
Hello!!
My name is Amy and I am pleased to announce that I am running the 2026 TSC London Marathon, for the Army Benevolent fund. A charity close to my heart and one I will forever support.
A little bit about me; I am a 21 year old from a small village on the border of Northamptonshire. I work for Truck East (Scania) Corby as a service and parts advisor and I was previously a police officer.
You may not know me but please could you take a couple minutes out of your day to read why I am running for the Army Benevolent Fund.
Back in World War 2, my great grandfather fought for our country, our nation and was a survivor. He was captured at war and held in a prisoner of war camp, but was later released and returned home where he met my nana, who passed in May of 2024. My grandad was one of my biggest role models in life, before he passed in …
I also have two people in my life who are currently serving with the British Army, my partner, Harrison and his father, Dale.
Harrison and me have been together since November 2023, however I have known him since September 2020.
Harrison has been a military kid since he was born. He’s been so strong in such stressful situations and I’m unbelievably proud of him.
Harrison has been through hell and back to get into the military, what an honour it has been to have been and be apart of his journey through going into the military and for the rest of his career.
The benevolent fund is a charity that one day, we may have to rely upon.
As for Dale, my father in law, there is no other man, apart from my own father who I could be more proud of. Since the day I met him, he has always supported me in all aspects. He has been through many tours and exercises and is currently the Regiment Sergeant Major of 2nd Battalion Royal Anglian regiment. Whether you need advice on cars, the army or just general life, dales always got an answer to a question.
I am running for every single soldier within the British Army, veterans, current serving soldiers and those who are waiting to serve. You’re all
important, regardless of rank. You’re serving for our country.
If you haven’t already, please donate to this charity through my donation website and support me through my journey to be a marathon runner in 2026.
Thank you,
Lots of love, Amy.
You got this, I love you ❤️
