South West London ACF vs The Cateran Yomp
On 6–7 June 2026, the South West London Army Cadet Force – cadets and adult instructors together – will take on our first big challenge: the Cateran Yomp. That’s 54 miles in 24 hours across the tough, unforgiving terrain of rural Perthshire.
This is going to test every one of us. Between now and June, we’ll be committing to a demanding training programme – long-distance marches, fitness sessions, and endurance preparation – to make sure we’re ready for the miles, the blisters, and the mental battles along the way.
We’re doing this not just for ourselves, but to raise vital funds for the Army Benevolent Fund, which gives lifelong support to soldiers, veterans, and their families.
It’s about teamwork, grit, and determination. Please back us, donate what you can, and help us make a difference.
