Serving in the British Army? Great. We've got an extra challenge for you. Gold Distinction.
Requirements
- Sign up a team from your Unit. Minimum of four.
- Complete the 54 miles Yomp within 24 hours, 24h01 - FAIL
- You must finish with the team you started with. Cross the finish line with your whole team within 24 hours and you'll have earnt Gold Distinction.
The ultimate bragging rights. Less than 50% of teams that entered last year achieved the award.

There is no fundraising requirement for those taking on the Cateran Yomp Gold Distinction. It is only open to serving members of the British Army both regular and reserve.
