Sophie vs 22 Miles of Perthshire

On 6 - 7 June 2026, I’ll be taking on the Cateran Yomp (Bronze Level): a 22-mile hike to be completed within 24 hours across the rugged terrain of rural Perthshire.

While it may not be the full 54-mile Gold route, this is still a significant physical and mental challenge - especially as it’s the longest distance I’ve attempted since completing Gold DofE over 10 years ago (and that was spread over four days!).

I’ll be pushing myself well outside my comfort zone to raise vital funds for the Army Benevolent Fund, which provides lifelong support to soldiers, veterans, and their families.
