EX CATERAN YOMP, 54 Mile Walk

Hi everyone,

This year I'm taking part in the Cateran Yomp, it's a 54-mile endurance event across the Cairngorm National Park in Scotland completed within 24 hours across rural Perthshire.

It’s going to be tough but it will raise vital funds for the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) and REME (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) charity, both of which provides a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their immediate families.

GOLD DISTINCTION & RECOVERY BACK TO BASE

Hello everyone,
I am pleased to say that 5Bn team- DRAGON YOMPER has successfully completed this years CATERAN YOMP. It was tough, challenging & very long walk. Despite few challenges Bn team continued to show both mental and physical resilience. 
We finished just after the mid night with timings of 19 hrs 24 minutes. I am extremely proud of my team and the effort they put in. 
As I write this, team are recovering back to MOD Lyneham and looking for much deserved rest. 
I can’t thank enough for the support that I and my team received. I really appreciate your donations to both ABF & REME Charity. Have a lovely Sunday and takecare. 

Arrived at YOMP HQ

Hi all,
Bit of an update!
We have travelled safely from MoD Lyneham to Yomp HQ @ Blairgowrie today. Registration completed so as vital safety briefing.
So all set for tomorrow. We will kick off 54 mile gold route aiming to complete under 24 hours, 0610 on 06 June 26.
