On the 5 - 6 June 2027, I am taking on the Cateran Yomp. A 54-mile hike in 24 hours across rural Perthshire.

It’s going to be tough but it will raise vital funds for the Army Benevolent Fund, providing a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their immediate families.

went up and lead my partner through the first stage (start to 1st checkpoint) 13.6 miles turned into 14.5 miles due to some repairs on the trail so went on a 0.9 mile detour but worth it my partner is signing up for 2027 aiming for bronze but training is going well going up every second week getting used to the route and training on the exact terrain of the event

so took my better half up to hike part of the route 5 miles in 5 miles back session 1 done loads more to go
