On the 7 - 8 June 2025, I am taking on the Cateran Yomp. A 54-mile hike in 24 hours across rural Perthshire.

It’s going to be tough but it will raise vital funds for the Army Benevolent Fund, providing a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their immediate families.

My Updates

Winter Break

October- new pair of boots broke in well no foot issues 
November- 2 pairs of boots going strong and some really good milage in them. Last good walk of the year.
December- beating the paths with 2 cocker spaniels.
January- risk assessment done, not allowed on the high grounds still more flats..


Yomp 2024

So after supporting my brother WO2 Ian Bennett ((veteran) 26yrs service. Although it was good to spend time with family members, was also good to make a change.. Supporting Ian and every possible chance was an honour, and seeing him cross the finish line was a very proud moment.
" THE HARDEST THING I'VE DONE"

So I decided there and then, that I want and need to do it. A little brother/brother competition and  raising money for a very good charity
