My Updates

First training walk of year

Hi all, good to get out on the fells yesterday. Been working hard in the gym but you can’t beat having your boots on, rucksack full and facing the elements

The Journey Begins: Training for the Cateran Yomp

Over the years, I’ve taken on a fair few challenges, but none quite like this. This year, I’ve committed to taking on the Cateran Yomp – a gruelling 54-mile trek through the rugged foothills of the Cairngorm Mountains, all within 24 hours. It’s the toughest endurance event of its kind in the UK, and while it’s daunting, I couldn’t be more excited to begin this journey.

The Yomp isn’t just about testing my limits – it’s about giving back. Every step will help raise funds for soldiers, veterans, and their families, supporting the incredible work of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. That’s a mission I’m proud to get behind, and it’s the thought of making a difference that’s pushing me to start training now.
