The Frontline Walk 2026: The Western Front

I'm once again taking part in the Frontline Walk: The Western Front. I'll be trekking 100km following in the footsteps of those who fought on the Somme and Passchendaele battlefields during the First World War

I'll be doing this to commemorate the sacrifices made by those who fought in WWI whilst helping to support the soldiers and veterans of today.

It will be a physically and emotionally tough challenge, but I'm doing it all for a great cause: Army Benevolent Fund, the National Charity of the British Army. They support soldiers, veterans and their families when they need it most.

Please cheer me on by making a donation towards my target.

My Updates

FLW Oct 26, my third!!

Afternoon all, (well if anyone reads this! 😂)

I'm now 12 weeks away from my third FLW and my second over the WW1 Western front areas. It's now the time to start the training in earnest. Whilst working at home 5 days a week I now need to make the conscious effort to get up from my desk and move, I've been walking around 0630hrs two mornings a week and this week have walked 12km. I plan to get some distance in this weekend, although it looks like it might be another hot one, so plenty of water and Haribo!

My raffle for the limited edition Falklands War commemorative scotch is going well, so far I've raised £325, after costs I believe that should be around £290, but I will make up the difference so that the ABF gets the full amount of money raised. Tickets can be purchased here:

Once again, many thanks to my supporters I will keep you posted.
