Frontline Walk 2026
I’m taking part in the Frontline Walk: The Western Front, where I’ll be trekking 100km across the battlefields of the Somme and Passchendaele.
This is more than just a physical challenge. It’s roughly the equivalent of walking a marathon a day for three consecutive days, over difficult terrain, and it will test me both physically and mentally. But for me, it carries a much deeper meaning than just the distance.
Over the years, through both my career and personal life, I’ve been fortunate enough to work alongside and build friendships with people who serve, who have served, and those who have given so much in support of the Armed Forces. Some are still serving today, some are veterans, and some are sadly no longer with us. This walk is, in part, a way for me to reflect on them — their dedication, their sacrifices, and the impact they’ve had.
Walking the very ground where so many fought during the First World War brings that into sharp focus. It’s a powerful reminder of the courage and resilience shown by those who came before, and why it’s so important we continue to support those who serve today.
That’s why I’m raising money for the Army Benevolent Fund, the National Charity of the British Army. They provide lifelong support to soldiers, veterans, and their families when they need it most, ensuring no one is left behind.
This will be a tough challenge, both physically and emotionally, but it’s for a cause that genuinely matters.
If you’re able to support me, I’d be hugely grateful. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference and help me get closer to my target.
Thank you for your support.
