I've created this page because I want to make a difference

I'm inspired by the work of the Army Benevolent Fund and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in My Frontline Walk. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can use the 'Donate' button.

The more people that know about the Army Benevolent Fund, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot.

My Story

For those that don't me I've completed multiple walks for The ABF since 2018. I've completed the Normandy Walk (2019/2021 and part 2022), 100 Day Offensive (2018), Western Front (2021) plus Silver in The Cateran Yomp (2019).

I've completed the back to back in 2021, and had planned to do all 3 walks in 2023 but...

During Day 1 of the 2022 Normandy Walk, just past Pegasus Bridge I suffered a Cardiac Arrest. Thankfully, the wonderful ABF Medical Team were on hand to bring me back. I then underwent surgery (double by-pass) in Caen Hospital and have been on the recovery road since.

The road has been rocky and I've had many mental health issues, as well as life changing alterations to my lifestyle, but I'm still here, and if you do know me you know I never quit.

I'll be signing up for the 2025 Western Front 100km, but for 2024 (my 60th year) I will be completing 'My Frontline Walk' and hopefully discovering some of the military history of my local area.

Lest We Forget.
