On the 7 - 8 June 2025, I am taking on the Cateran Yomp. A 54-mile hike in 24 hours across rural Perthshire.

It’s going to be tough but it will raise vital funds for the Army Benevolent Fund, providing a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their immediate families.

Team TAB number 1

Saturday 18th January was the first team TAB (still not saying YOMP being ex Army).
First time we all met as a team with a brisk 15 miler.  Great pace, good banter and a pint and could own at the end..one blister, one boot blow out but other than that legs all held up.
February team TAB being planned now with the distance increased to approx 29 miles. 
Preparation well under way

starting to get real

So the date is set for our first team training session. On the 18th January 2025 we'll go on a steady 15 Mile TAB on Salisbury Plain. 
Everyone's getting some personal mileage on their boots in preparation.
Time to start building some resilience in our feet.

So it begins.

A team is assembled. The crazy and the willing.
Training plans underway with individual training until January 2025 then to get some team miles on our boots.
