The 2016'ers on the Western Front ... again!
In 2016 a group of strangers came together to take part in the 100km Frontline Walk on the Western Front. We were all from different walks of life and all had our own reasons signing up to this challenge. Many friendships were forged during this epic walk following in the footsteps of those who fought on the Somme and Passchendaele battlefields during the First World War. Now 10 years on a number of us will be undertaking this challenge again to not only commemorate those who fought on the Western Front during WW1 but also to celebrate strong friendships that were forged a decade ago and in doing so we will be helping to support the soldiers and veterans of today.
It will be a physically and emotionally tough challenge, but we're doing it all for a great cause: ABF The Soldiers' Charity, the National Charity of the British Army. They support soldiers, veterans and their families when they need it most.
