On the 7 - 8 June 2025, I am taking on the Cateran Yomp. A 54-mile hike in 24 hours across rural Perthshire.

It’s going to be tough but it will raise vital funds for the Army Benevolent Fund, providing a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their immediate families.

Myself and 5 other friends are completing this challenge 4 of whom served along side me in 3 Coy 2nd battalion Coldstream Guards. We have know each other from the age of 18-19. Now in our 50s our friendship is still as strong as it ever was back in 1988-1989. We are going to do this. Just like we did all those years ago. And still with the same smiles on our faces.
