Hear ye, noble friends, kin, and kind-hearted strangers!

A year ago, I embarked upon the Cateran Yomp – a trial of endurance so gruelling, so merciless, it left me broken, blistered, and babbling to sheep in the Highlands. 54 miles. 24 hours. One man. Questionable socks.

I swore I’d never return.

And yet… here I am.
Because some say heroes are brave. Others say they’re fools.
But only an idiot tries the Yomp twice.
So call me what you will – madman, legend, or poor decision-maker – but I’m doing it all over again. Not for glory, nor riches (though I wouldn’t say no to a biscuit), but for a cause worth every aching step.

This is no ordinary stroll through the glen. This is a test forged by ancient gods and sadistic event planners – and I go forth not for myself, but to raise coin for the Army Benevolent Fund, a mighty cause that supports soldiers, veterans, and their families when darkness falls.
