I've created this page because I want to make a difference

I'm doing this frontline walk for family, two families to be exact.
First my blood family. My grandfather J Mehegan who served in the 1st Royal Irish Regiment during WWI and was wounded.
My Uncles John Mehegan who served in the Royal Signals in WWII and Daniel james Mehegan who served in the Royal Engineers in WWII but was sadly killed in action at the battle of Monty Casino. 
My Mother and Farther who both served in WWII, my father went on to serve in Palestine after the war.
Finally my brother Michael Hendley Royal Signals,  who served in Northern Ireland. 
Now my second Military family, a group of 16year old boys from all over Britain, who joined the Army together in 1979 , most of us are still friends today some 45 years later, having served in a variety of combat zones from Northern Ireland to the first Gulf War.
Hopefully my donations will help fellow Veterans and Military personnel where needed.
