Help me in my fundraising activity
I'm taking part in the Frontline Walk: The Western Front. I'll be trekking 100km following in the footsteps of those who fought on the Somme and Passchendaele battlefields during the First World War
I'll be doing this to commemorate the sacrifices made by those who fought in WWI whilst helping to support the soldiers and veterans of today.
It will be a physically and emotionally tough challenge, but I'm doing it all for a great cause: Army Benevolent Fund, the National Charity of the British Army. They support soldiers, veterans and their families when they need it most.
Please cheer me on by making a donation towards my target.

My Updates
Walking 100km to Remember — and to Make a Difference
During October 2027, I’ll be taking on the ABF Frontline Walk: The Western Front, trekking 100km through the Somme and Passchendaele battlefields of France and Belgium.
It’s a challenge with a purpose that goes far beyond the distance. I’ll be following in the footsteps of those who fought during the First World War, taking time to reflect on their courage, their experiences and the sacrifices they made.
Every step will be an act of remembrance, and a way to help those who need our support today.
Remembering those who came before us
For me, this walk is an opportunity to connect with a history we must never forget. These battlefields were places where ordinary people faced extraordinary circumstances, where lives were lost and families changed forever.
Walking through them will give me time to pause, reflect and pay my respects. I expect those moments to be every bit as challenging as the miles themselves.
Supporting today’s Army family
Alongside that remembrance, I’ll be raising money for the Army Benevolent Fund, the National Charity of the British Army.
The charity supports soldiers, veterans and their families when they need it most. By taking part, I hope to turn my own effort into something useful for the Army family today, honouring past sacrifice through practical support in the present.
A personal challenge with a shared purpose
Covering 100km will take preparation, determination and, I suspect, a fair amount of encouragement along the way. I know there will be tired legs and difficult miles, as well as moments that bring home the significance of where I’m walking.
But I’ll have a strong reason to keep going: the people we’re remembering, the people this charity helps, and everyone who backs my effort.
Please help me make those miles count
If you’re able to, please cheer me on by making a donation towards my fundraising target. Whatever you can give will be greatly appreciated and will help the Army Benevolent Fund continue its vital work.
Sharing my fundraising page would also mean a great deal, helping me reach more people and build support for the challenge ahead.
Thank you for reading, for encouraging me, and for helping me make every step count.
In remembrance of those who served. In support of those who need us today.
