The Frontline Walk 2027: Borneo Jungle

I'm taking part in the Frontline Walk: The Borneo Jungle. I'll be tracing the steps of the Prisioners of War who were forced to endure the Death March from the Sandakan PoW camp to Jessleton. The trek includes Mount Trusmadi, Borneo’s second-highest and most challenging peak.

It will be a physically and emotionally tough challenge, but I'm doing it all for a great cause: Army Benevolent Fund, the National Charity of the British Army. They support soldiers, veterans and their families when they need it most.

Please cheer me on by making a donation towards my target.

Borneo Death March Charity Challenge

Hi All,
In March 2027 I am travelling to Borneo to raise money for the ABG and experince The Death March of the Prisoners of War who endured extreme conditions on the gruelling walk from Sandakan PoW camp to Jessleton. Taking place in the dense jungles of Borneo, you’ll follow as much of the original route as possible, including Mount Trusmadi, Borneo’s second-highest and most challenging peak. This trek is not only a test of endurance but a profound homage to resilience and remembrance. Although I am Royal Navy through and through ,with my Grandad, who was a Royal Engineer in the 2nd WW and son also in the engineers  I have a great affinity to work with this charity. Your support in my journey will be really appreciated.
