Mad as a bag o frogs
Frontline Walk 2026 – The Western Front
Aye… here we go again.
I’ll be hauling this ageing carcass 100km across the Western Front, following in the footsteps of the brave souls who fought at the Somme and Passchendaele.
This’ll be my 6th Frontline Walk in 10 years… which either shows commitment… or that I’ve got the sense of a daft bawbag.
First did it for the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of the Somme, and now I’m back for the 110th—because clearly I didnae suffer enough the first time.
All joking aside, it’s for the lads who had it far worse than a few blisters and a dodgy knee. Proper heroes.
I’m raising a few quid for the Army Benevolent Fund, supporting soldiers, veterans, and their families when they need it most.
So if you can: 🍺 Sack a pint
💷 Fling a few quid in
👏 Or just gee us a shout
…it’d mean a lot.
Cheers troops — I’ll be thinking of you all when I’m somewhere around kilometre 70, questioning every life choice that brought me there.
