Events
We are actively recruiting volunteers for the below events. Please read the information carefully and get in touch with us if you have any questions.
The Cateran Yomp
Event date: 7/8 June 2025
Location: Blairgowrie, Scotland
Over the years thousands of event participants have taken on the Perthshire landscape. There are three medals stops and a variety of check points along the route to ensure that our event participants are safe and happy. Volunteers help us with all aspects of the event, from marketing it, to registering participants on the day, manning checkpoints and providing a much needed support to our Yompers.
Checkpoint or Water Stop Support:
Whether it is at a checkpoint or water stop, your role is essential in supporting and motivating the participants. It is the job of a checkpoint or waterstop volunteer to welcome them, let them know how many miles they have to complete and most importantly show them where the refreshments and food are. You could also be cheering them over the finish line and handing out medals if you are at one of our three finish lines (Bronze, silver or gold).
