Volunteer

We are always looking for more volunteers to come along to support our event participants during our fundraising events and activities. You’ll gain new skills, meet interesting people and most importantly of all, you’ll be helping us to raise vital funds to support our soldiers, veterans and their families.

Why volunteer?

ABF The Soldiers’ Charity is the National Charity of the British Army, supporting soldiers, veterans and their families since 1944.

Our events are growing, and we simply would not be able to put on amazing charity events without the support of our amazing volunteers. 

How Could I Help?

  • Course Marshalling
  • Event day set up
  • Route marshals
  • Handing out goody bags

Key skills and experience needed:

None! You just need to be a team player and willing to muck in.

Interested in volunteering as part of a corporate or company team?

Here is what we expect from you:

  • Arriving to your shift(s) on time and participating fully 
  • Commitment to good quality engagement
  • Arriving to your chosen event with everything you need e.g walking boots, rain mac etc
  • For you to be happy for us to take photographs of you and using the on our website, social media platforms and marketing content
