My Updates

204 miles (328 km) completed

As November comes to an end, so does my Frontline Walk 2025 challenge — and what a journey it has been. This year, I set out to complete 80 miles (129 km) in support of the Army Benevolent Fund. Instead, I pushed far beyond that target, finishing the month with a total of 204 miles (328 km) walked.

What began as a personal commitment quickly became something much more meaningful. Every mile became a reminder of why this challenge exists: to honour those who have served, those who never came home, those who lived to tell their stories, and those who stand ready to defend when they are needed most.

Walking for the Army Benevolent Fund is always rewarding, but this year felt especially significant. Each step was a tribute — a quiet acknowledgement of sacrifice, resilience, and duty. Taking part alongside so many dedicated fundraisers was a privileges.

Completing 204 miles was physically demanding but emotionally uplifting. It’s a powerful reminder that even small acts — a step, a mile, a walk — can contribute to a greater cause. I’m proud to have played a small part in supporting the ABF and the vital work they do for soldiers, veterans, and their families.

Thank you to everyone who followed along, offered encouragement, or donated. Your support made every mile worthwhile.

Until the next challenge — stand easy.

Beyond 80

I walk everywhere, I knew I would smash the 80 mile target but I never did think that I would be looking at over 130 miles done by 20th November.

Target for month completion was 140 miles. If I keep up this current trajectory, I think that I may easily bust 200 miles.

Every step taken is in memory of those who have served, those who came home to keep the stories going and those who never made it back to safety.

Your support can make a real difference to ABF.

30% and climbing

This November, I’m proud to be taking part in My Frontline Walk 2025, in support of the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) — the Army’s national charity.

From 1st to 30th November 2025, I’ll be walking 80 miles (approximately 129 kilometres) in remembrance of all those who have served and sacrificed in conflicts past and present. Every step is a tribute to their courage, dedication, and the freedoms they helped to protect.

Each mile I cover is not just a personal challenge, but also a symbol of remembrance and gratitude to those who gave everything.

As of 4th November 2025, I’ve already completed 22 miles (around 35.4 km) — racing forward to reach and surpass the 80-mile target! The early progress has been motivating, and I’m determined to keep up the pace throughout the month.

If this momentum continues, I expect to complete at least 90–100 miles (145–161 km) by the end of November — going the extra distance in honour of those who went further than any of us ever could.

Your support makes every step even more meaningful. Donations, shares, and words of encouragement all help to fuel the journey and contribute directly to the Army Benevolent Fund’s vital work.

Together, we can make a real difference for soldiers, veterans, and their families — past, present, and future.
