All participants registering for the Cross Bay walk do so of their own will, understanding the arduous nature of the event. As such they must be medically fit to participate and take full responsibility for their own personal health and fitness. It is not recommended that children under the age of 5 years take part, unless they are being carried all the way by their parent/ guardian.
All participants are to adhere to the instructions set out by the guide during the breifing at the start of the walk. If participants arrive late and the walk has already set off, they are not to try and catchup as this poses risk to their own safety and to others.
Participants are to stay with the walk at all times, they must not stop or break away from the group due to the dangers of the surrounding terrain. If a participant does need to stop or requires assistance, they are to alert one of the marshalls.
All paricipants aged 16 years and over are required to raise a minimum of £50 in fundraising on behalf of The Army Benevolent Fund. Families purchasing a family ticket (maximum of 6 people) are required to raise a combined minimum of £100 in fundraising on behalf of The Army Benevolent Fund.
