I understand that The Army Benevolent Fund are a charity partner of Born Survivor and not the event organisers and their involvement is to facilitate with ticket distribution and offer fundraising support only.
For reasons of health, safety and responsibility, I the Participant, agree to abide by and in all respects comply with the rules set out by Born Survivor Events Limited [“the Organiser”] as published on their website www.born-survivor.com [“the Rules”] and I confirm that I have read and fully understand the same.
General Disclaimer
I am accepting a Free place on Born Survivor on the pledge to fundraise for The Army Benevolent Fund and understand that I will not be officially registered onto the race, until I have activated my fundraising page and reached 50% of my minimum target as defined below.
All individuals pledge to raise a minimum of £200 for The Army Benevolent Fund. Unless they enter as a team, those who pledge to fundraise as a team pledge to raise a combined minimum of £1000.
A fundraising team must be made of a minimum of 4 participants with a maximum of 10. Teams of larger numbers will need to set up several fundraising team pages.
All participants enter Born Survivor of their own will, understanding the arduous nature of the event. As such they must be medically fit to participate and take full responsibility for their own personal health and fitness.
Throughout the event, participants will be checked for their suitability to continue based on the grounds of capability and state of health. If any of the marshals and medical staff believe that the safety of the individual will be compromised by their continued participation, they reserve the right to ask that person or persons to stop.
If that person or persons continue the route, they do so at their own risk against the advice given, Born Survivor and The Army Benevolent Fund will take no further responsibility for their participation and state of health.
All participants agree to abide by the terms and conditions set out on the Born Survivor website.
Medical Disclaimer
Participants must agree to complete and present the waver provided to them by Born Survivor, on the day of the event or they will not be permitted to take part. They must use this opportunity to inform Born Survivor of any medical or other condition that might affect their ability to take part in the event.
Participants must agree to submit a true and accurate description of their medical history and current condition, to the best of their knowledge.
Privacy Policy
I understand and agree that by submitting an online registration to participate in this event, I am consenting to receive email and postal communications from The Army Benevolent Fund regarding Born Survivor. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to ensure emails regarding my participation in the event sent by The Army Benevolent Fund and/or event organisers (including but not limited to email receipts, tickets and advanced notices) are received by me, and are not redirected to Spam or Junk folders or sent to email addresses I do not have access to.
I acknowledge that my data will only be used for marketing purposes, including but not limited to electronic marketing if I provide specific consent for this during the registration process. I understand that I may unsubscribe from any marketing lists I do opt in to receiving at any time, either by using the link provided in e-mails or by calling The Army Benevolent Fund at any time.
I am aware that The Army Benevolent Fund will never sell or otherwise distribute my details to any third party, except in regard to providing health and safety data to the event organisers for use in that respect only.
