2025 TCS London Marathon

I'm running for The Army Benevolent Fund in the 2025 London Marathon

I've created this page because I want to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work of The Army Benevolent Fund and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in 2025 TCS London Marathon. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'donate' button. The more people that know about ABF, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!

My Updates

Another Half Marathon in the bag

I completed the Bath 2 Tunnels Half Marathon on Sunday 23rd February, on a wet and windy Sunday. Knocked over 5 minutes off of my time at my last half, which I’m pleased about, but still some work to do over the next couple of months to get myself ready for the full distance.

Putting in the miles.

Half marathon

My first full event in 5 years. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the run route was really nice, loads of support through the streets of Cheltenham. Pleased to squeeze in just under my 2 hour target.

Longest run so far

13 miles today in two hours, getting ready for my half marathon in 2 weeks at https://runcheltenham.com/ one of my interim goals in preparation for https://www.tcslondonmarathon.com/ I’m running for charity, The Army Benevolent Fund, and raising funds in the process. I’d be grateful for any amount you’d be willing to donate to this cause which is close to my heart as an Army Veteran myself. My donation page is here: https://events.armybenevolentfund.org/fundraisers/seanemery Thank you, your support means so much.

Benchmark 10k

Ran a 10k this morning to set a benchmark for my training. Hope to improve my splits quite a bit by the time the marathon comes around.

First run since getting the news

I've a long way to go the get Marathon ready. Time to find a training plan.
