TCS London Marathon 2027

My Reason for Fundraising

I'm proud to be running the 2027 TCS London Marathon in support of the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF), the Army's national charity.

This cause is particularly close to my heart because I've experienced first-hand the difference the ABF makes. In 2024, I suffered a serious injury during military training that left me with a permanently fused ankle and facing years of rehabilitation. While recovering at DMRC Stanford Hall, the ABF provided incredible support, including arranging for a group of us to spend a day at Wimbledon's Centre Court. Opportunities like that gave me, and many of my fellow patients, a real boost during what was an incredibly challenging period. Having seen the impact of their work first-hand, I'm honoured to be able to give something back by taking on this challenge.

The ABF supports soldiers, veterans, and their families for life, working directly with individuals and alongside other leading charities to ensure help is available whenever it's needed. Last year alone, the ABF supported people ranging in age from just one day old to 104 years old.

If you're able to, I'd be hugely grateful for any donation, no matter the size. Every contribution helps the ABF continue providing vital support to soldiers, veterans, and their families when they need it most.

If you can't donate, sharing my page with your friends and family would also make a real difference by helping more people learn about the work the ABF does.

Thank you so much for your generosity and support, it genuinely means a great deal to me.
