I've created this page to make a difference in the lives of soldiers, veterans and their families.

I'm inspired by the work of the Army Benevolent Fund and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in 2027 TCS London Marathon. The ABF is the Army's national charity, supporting individuals and families as well as other leading charities to ensure help is there for soldiers, for life. Last year, they supported individuals aged from just 1 day old to 104 years old. You can read more of their stories here.

Ayrton Redfearn

In 2027, I’ll be tabbing the London Marathon carrying a 23kg daysack - one kilogram for every year of Ayrton Redfearn’s life.

I went through phase 2 training in the RAF Regiment with Ayrton. Recently he was tragically killed in action.

This challenge is about honouring his memory, his resilience, and the kind of man he was.

26.2 miles carrying 23kg won’t be easy but it’s nothing compared to the sacrifices made by men like Ayrton.

Every donation and share means a huge amount.
