The Front Line Walk: The Italy Campaign 2026
Setting off in September 2026, I will be walking over 50 miles in three days across challenging terrain from the Salerno Beaches up to Monte Cassino. A challenging trek with steep ascents and descents, the walk passes locations such as Minturno War Cemetery, the Amazon Bridge Monument and Cassino War Cemetery.
Any and all donations would be hugely welcomed, and all funds raised go directly to supporting the brilliant work the Army Benevolent Fund do.
The Army Benevolent Fund is the Army’s national charity, here for soldiers, former soldiers, and their immediate families for life. Since 1944, the charity has been at the forefront of support for the Army family. It is one of the largest funders in the sector, reaching some 75,000 people and funding 86 charities and organisations in 2023-24. It is here to support the Army family through life’s challenges - whether that involves bereavement, injury, getting back to work, elderly care, and much more.
