I'm taking part in the Frontline Walk: The Home Front. I'll be walking through 18 miles of British history of the wartime South Downs, across locations which are still important for the British Army today.
It will be a physically and emotionally tough challenge, but I'm doing it all for a great cause: the Army Benevolent Fund, the National Charity of the British Army. They support soldiers, veterans and their families when they need it most.
Please cheer me on by making a donation towards my target.

Kicking Off the Mission: Training, Rucking, and Supporting the Army Benevolent Fund
Welcome to my fundraising page for The Home Front: Southwick Park 2026-2027
As a Reservist serving with the Royal Logistic Corps, I see firsthand the incredible community spirit, dedication, and resilience that defines our service personnel and their families. Life in the reserves means balancing military commitments, civilian careers, and everyday family logistics and keeping up with a rigorous fitness routine involving everything from high-volume running and rucking to indoor cycling and gym sessions.
Balancing all of that keeps me on my toes, but it also gives me a deep appreciation for the vital safety net that the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) provides. Whether it’s supporting soldiers, veterans, or their immediate families through times of need, transition, or hardship, the ABF is always there behind the scenes.
Why I’m Fundraising
Taking on new challenges is part and parcel of being in the reserves whether it's tackling rugged terrain, pushing through training blocks, or preparing for operational deployments. This fundraising effort is my way of giving back to the wider military family, ensuring that the soldiers and support networks who sacrifice so much have access to lifetime support when it matters most.
We are currently sitting at £179 raised towards our initial goals, and every single contribution helps us climb that rank and build momentum.
