Am I mad?
On the 8 - 9 June 2024, I am taking on the Cateran Yomp. A 54-mile hike in 24 hours across rural Perthshire.
It’s going to be tough but it will raise vital funds for the Army Benevolent Fund, providing a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their immediate families.

14.04.24 - Training Day 5 - Climbing - 16.5 miles
Another day in the Purbecks with 2 daughters in tow. We followed the same route as last week, stopping for lunch and protein bars in Tyneham Village before the final stomp across the coast path to the 2nd highest point in Dorset before another stop for lemonade at the Scott Arms then descending back into to Corfe...
07.04.24 - Training Day 4 - More Hills! - 16.5 miles
Heading out from Corfe Castle, we headed across the downs to the coastal path where savage climbs greeted awaited. We ended the day with a pint back in Corfe village having hiked a challenging 17 miles! I can feel my fitness levels slowly increasing!
30.03.24 - Training Day 3 - Distance Training - 24.1 miles
24.1 Miles in the New Forest. We set out with a team of 7 and only 5 remained at the end of the walk - 2 felt that 15 was enough and stayed at the pub waiting for a taxi! Can't say I blame them -

12 Miles along the Coastal path in the Purbecks - Hard work with some seriously steep inclines!
17.03.24 - Training Day 1 - Portland Circuit - 9.5 miles
