The Medicine Ball Challenge

One in four adults experience mental illness, and many more of us know and care for people who do. Talking openly about we feel can help.

The challenge involves cuffing a 3kg Medicine Ball to my wrist for 7 days. It may not sound that heavy but being tied to the medicine ball continuously for 7 days is a significant burden. The ball becomes a physical, visual and tangible representation of the invisible burden of mental health so many of us can experience.

The challenge raises money for the following charities. Any support you can offer will be gratefully received and split evenly between the causes.

Running the Length of cyprus(225km)

My name is Joe, I am an Infantry soldier in the 4th battalion the royal regiment of Scotland and next year myself and 2 others will be attempting too the run the full length of cyprus for the ABF, this is going too be a test of mental and physical robustness as we aim too do this in less then 3 days, I have ran a few ultra marathons but never anything as extreme as this, I will be posting my training for this challenge all over tiktok, facebook and instagram, the ABF felt like the best charity after hearing about the work they do for current serving and our veterans back in the UK and in Cyprus, so if you support our armed forces or even if u just enjoy seeing me suffer please donate and follow the journey!
