Gordon Tibbetts

On the 8 - 9 June 2024, my Regiment will be entering two teams of 7 Yompers to try to complete GOLD in under 18 hours. No mean feat - 54-miles across rural Perthshire. I intend to lead from the front and hope that all members will find this a challenge that we can rise to - together, for a great cause!

It’s going to be tough but it will raise vital funds for the Army Benevolent Fund, providing a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their immediate families.

Please give whatever you can spare. With your generosity and my team's 'blood, sweat and tears' I truly believe we can make a small difference to the lives of those who need our help most.

Training hard

Very recently broke through the 200 miles on hills barrier! Training is going well, almost 8 weeks to go. Freddie, my 4 legged training partner, is loving the long walks and exploring the great outdoors, even if it has been very wet and muddy over the past month.
