2024 TCS London Marathon

I've created this page because I want to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work of The Army Benevolent Fund and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in TCS London Marathon 2024. The longest run is out of the way...time for taper in readiness for the big day.  

Steady state 1 of many

Little break out run this morning. Slow and steady…as they say. 

The beginning

So, at the tender age of 53 I’ve decided to continue my fitness journey and accept the challenge of completing the Marathon. 

I’ve chosen ABF for the simple reason that they help soldiers,  veterans and their families. They also fund projects which assist other branches of those who serve. 

I’m a veteran myself, and also spent a fair few years in hostile environments overseas and in the UK.
