Army Benevolent Fund
I’m somehow running the Cardiff Half Marathon again despite being older, creakier, and held together mostly by stubbornness, ibuprofen, and whatever hope is left in my knees. At this point, my joints make more noise than my alarm clock.
But I’m dragging myself around 13.1 miles because I want to support the incredible work of The Army Benevolent Fund. They do amazing things for soldiers, veterans, and their families… and if I’m going to suffer, it might as well be for a good cause.
If you can, please hit the donate button and throw a few quid their way. Every bit helps, and it’ll make me feel slightly better about the life choices that led me to voluntarily run long distances at my age.
And if you can’t donate, sharing my page is just as brilliant, the more people who know about The Army Benevolent Fund, the bigger the impact we can make.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support. It genuinely means a lot… especially when I’m questioning my sanity somewhere around mile 10, wondering why my knees sound like a bowl of Rice Krispies.
