Hello , my name is Claudia.
This September I will be running the Great North Run , the biggest half marathon to support the Army Benevolent Fund.
As the wife of a Veteran who served for 24.5 years this challenge is deeply personal. I have seen firsthand the incredible dedication required of our soldiers and the resilience of the families who stand beside them.
My Husband gave nearly a quarter of a century to his country. Now, I am running 13.1 miles to give back to the community that has been our way of life for over two decades.
I am raising funds for the Army Benevolent Fund because they provide lifetime of support to the „Army Family“. Wether it is mental health care, housing adaptions for injured veterans or emergency grants for families in crisis, they ensure that no one who has served is ever left behind.
By sponsoring my run, you aren’t just helping me reach the finish line of the worlds greatest race-you are helping to provide dignity and vital safety net for those who have given so much.
