Andy's London Marathon Challenge

H I'm Andy - I was injured in 2009 after stepping on an IED in Afghanistan whilst serving in the Royal Yorkshire Regiment. Due to the severity of my injuries, I am now a triple amputee, losing both legs and my right arm. I class myself as a survivor not a victim.
I received a huge amount of support from the ABF in the years following my accident, including adaptions to my home and educational courses which allowed me to become a professional motivational speaker.
I'm walking the London Marathon to raise funds for both the ABF and my own Standing Tall Foundation who help other Veterans in need, to try and make a real difference to them and their families.
The ABF is the Army's national charity, supporting individuals and families as well as other leading charities to ensure help is there for soldiers, for life. You can read more of their stories here.
The Standing Tall Foundation promotes the Mental and Physical wellbeing of all community groups through the provision of counselling, addiction support and physical activity initiatives. We further extend this support into the community to help those in financial need, including the homeless, via the provision of advisory support.
Please help me to help others by giving whatever you can using the 'donate' button. I would ask you to spread the word and awareness by sharing my page with your friends and family.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
