I'm inspired by the work of ABF The Soldiers' Charity and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in the Manchester Half Marathon 2023. Cover platform costs

I’d like to add a little extra to help cover the fees of maintaining the technology that keeps this platform available for donations. Why?

Gift Aid I confirm I have paid or will pay an amount of UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities or community amateur sports clubs that I donate to will reclaim on my gifts for that tax year. Well I started running again on Sunday. I have always run a bit but nothing more than 5-8km really. So I am keen to push myself and get fitter.

I have been building myself up and tonight I managed an 8km run!

Which takes my total for the week to 24km.

(So if I could do the half marathon over 5 days I would already be there!) Instead I am going to work towards that in one go!)

Long way to go but starting off well.
