The Frontline Walk 2025: The Normandy Beaches

Hello

I'm taking part in the Frontline Walk: The Normandy Beaches.  I'll be trekking 100km of the coastline stormed as part of Operation Overlord during the D-Day landings of the Second World War.

I commemorated the centenary of the beginning and end of WW1 when in 2014 I walked 100km over the Ypres Salient for The Royal Star and Garter and in 2018 followed the 100 Days Offensive raising funds for The Army Benevolent Fund.

This year it will be in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the end of WW2.  The Normandy Beaches trek seems the ideal way of doing this.

I'll be doing this to commemorate the sacrifices made by those who fought in WWII whilst helping to support the soldiers and veterans of today.

It will be a physically and emotionally tough challenge, but I'm doing it all for a great cause: the Army Benevolent Fund, the National Charity of the British Army.  They support soldiers, veterans and their families when they need it most.

Please cheer me on by making a donation towards my target.

Thank you for reading this and, hopefully, for your donation towards such a worthy cause.
