REC Runners take on the Great North Run
This September, Rosie Berry, Edd Dutton, and Catherine Dutton — all part of the same family — are taking on the iconic Great North Run in the North East to raise funds for the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF), the Army’s national charity.
The ABF is proudly celebrating 80 years of supporting the Army family. Since its founding in 1944, the charity’s mission has remained steadfast: to ensure that every soldier — past, present, and future — can live with independence, dignity, and without hardship.
With deep ties to the military community through their wider family, Rosie, Edd, and Catherine feel a strong connection to the incredible work the ABF does. While they are grateful never to have personally needed the charity’s support, they are determined to give back and help ensure it remains a lifeline for those who do.
Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards helping soldiers and veterans lead full, supported lives — just as they deserve. Please join us in backing Rosie, Edd, and Catherine on their journey across the finish line, and help them champion the Army family during this special 80th anniversary year.
